The work includes removing existing fittings, fixtures, and linings to enable a full refurbishment and conversion to a semi commercial teaching kitchen. Refurbishing the space includes providing new stainless-steel benches with gas cooking equipment, sinks, and appliances. It also includes a new mechanical extraction system, and new linings, painting, fittings, and fixtures. To achieve this, there is removal of asbestos flooring, and an upgrade of the gas supply.
